An emaciated 6-month-old baby girl is fighting for her life after being found in a cupboard where her mom left her to starve to death.  The child, named Katya was born in back in April and had been living off water and scraps of discarded food given by her elder brother, Russian media reported.   Krasnoturyinsk Live, the news outlet that revealed the horrifying incident, said the child's mother Yulia 'hoped that the baby would pass away from starvation.' The mother is now in Police custody and a criminal case has been opened by the Russian Investigative Committee into 'torturing' the child, an offence that can lead to up to seven years in jail if convicted. She is currently undergoing examination in a psychiatric clinic, said law enforcement. A jealous husband cut his wife's head off when he caught her talking to their neighbour in India. Kinnar Yadav, 40, had long suspected his wife Vimla, 35, of being unfaithful to him, according to reports.  Some residents of Baberu, located in Banda region in India's Uttar Pradesh, reportedly told Kinnar Yadav his wife Vimla was having an affair with Ravikant Yadav who lives in a house near the couple. On Friday morning, October 9, Kinnar took a walk and returned home to find Vimla chatting with Rakivant. According to police, Rakivant was looking to buy a buffalo and Vimla had been giving him tips when her husband came and saw them chatting.  Seeing the two of them together angered Kinnar so much that he grabbed an axe and attacked the Rakivant, injuring him before he fled the scene. He then turned his attention to his wife, killing her and severing her head from her body. A 25-year-old woman has been arrested in Moscow, Russia, after she was caught trying to sell her new born daughter on the black market for £3,000 so that she could buy herself a new pair of boots. The woman, Luiza Gadzhieva advertised her one-week-old infant seeking adoptive parents for the child in return for £3,000. The mother, who has three other children, had earlier discussed with her sister she would buy a new pair of boots once she sold the baby. However, Gadzhieva was caught in a sting operation by law enforcement personnel who posed as buyers. She was filmed hiding her face after she handed over the baby girl to the buyers at a coffee shop in Moscow. It was gathered that an anti-slavery group called Alternativa had tried to persuade her to not sell the baby. Former Miss Zimbabwe Bongani Dhlakama and her estranged husband Bongani Ndlovu's divorce saga has taken a nasty turn. Some of their dirty laundry was aired in public after Ndlovu sought for a restraining order against his estranged wife. Ndlovu accused his estranged wife who was crowned Miss Zimbabwe in 2012 and held the crown until 2014 when another contest was held, of threatening to kill him and his children. He also accused her of making threats of poisoning him, hiring thugs to kill and to frame him for assault so that he gets locked up and sexually abused in prison.
