Texas Father Wanted In Connection To Daughters’ 2008 Murders Arrested.

The Associated Press is reporting that a Texas father accused of killing his teenage daughters in 2008 was arrested Wednesday, according to the FBI.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Egyptian-born Yaser Abdel Said, 63, was arrested in a small town about 36 miles northwest of Dallas on a capital murder warrant. He had been wanted in connection with the slaying of Sarah Yaser Said, 17, and Amina Yaser Said, 18 since they were killed on New Years Day in 2008.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“Even after 12 years of frustration and dead ends, the pursuit for their killer never ceased,” Irving Police Chief Jeff Spivey said in a statement. “Today’s arrest of their father, Yaser Said, brings us closer to ensuring justice is served on their behalf.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The sisters were found shot to death in a cab outside a motel in Irving. One of the sisters called 911 to say she was dying, but most of what she said to the 911 dispatcher was unintelligible, and she was unable to provide their location.

I remember this case when Crime Watch Daily was still a thing. The sickest part about it all was how the mother tricked the daughters to go back to live with the father. She got her babies killed and she needs to be in jail alongside him.
